Earthness™ Experiences

A morning well spent with Kanwaljeet of Club Campers over breakfast and a rich discussion on culture, food and campers. We also met the newest member of the farm family.

This time, we welcomed little Kaiser on his maiden farm visit. He also actively contributed to the final plans before planting commences. Must say, he took to the land like a true native.

All the efforts of doing this the right way paid off. We struck a very good flow of water. It took the team over 18 hours of hard work, but the end result washed away all the fatigue. Hail Mother Earth.

We welcomed Elias and Arun to our team – the team from Manovsis will help us bring the designs to life. With this, we are this close to beginning the final execution phase. The countdown begins.

We enjoyed a coming together of friends, neighbors and community members. Hosted by Dee, Yamini and Jananee. When the ladies lead, everything looks promising.

This week, we located points for sinking our bore-well. Ravi sir, with his equipment, located two points on the land. The readings are encouraging. The whole process was as scientific as it was entertaining. Next up, digging the actual bore-well.

The good part of building Earthness ™ is that we have great team that’s working together to strike a delicate balance between nature and us. We also have a watchful Great Dane who ensures they are doing their jobs diligently.

Weekend drive to the land comes with a mandatory check-in with the ladies at Dee Mandala Farms. Little Rosha, the newest resident with Ceiba the great: it’s a whole new friendship in the making.

It takes a team to build a farm. With the fencing almost done, Chaitali with Dee took a walk to plan the residence location, among other things.

When two stories blend in, a third begins to write itself. Our story is peppered with good folk who have decided to walk with us. With Dee, on Earthness Base Camp, thinking of important things like, “are we really doing this bro?”
